What is RandomStrangers ?
It’s a unique and interesting way to meet other gay couples, expand your social circle and have a great weekend away from home in a chilled out and sociable environment. RandomStrangers brings together groups of between 5 and 8 like minded couples previously unknown to each other into a social environment sharing a big house with good food, plenty to drink and lots of social interaction!!.

Who is RandomStrangers aimed at?
Events are aimed at gay couples who enjoy meeting other couples and getting to know new people. Often couples find it difficult to meet other couples in a social situation. RandomStrangers bring such couples together.

Where are events held?
Events are held in large private houses up and down the country. Normally the houses are in their own private grounds, often with stunning scenery and lots to do around about.

Is this a sex club or just an excuse for an orgy!?!
This is a chance to meet other gay couples in a very sociable environment. Of course, if you hit it off with another couple then who knows what will happen! Our events are about meeting other people, enjoying their company, having good food and drink but most of all just about enjoying yourself!  What happens is down to you and the others that are there.

Who will be at my event?
Our aim at RandomStrangers is to bring together people from different locations and different backgrounds who may not normally have the opportunity to meet one another but have certain attributes in common. We ensure that the group at each event is a good mix with the principle aim of ensuring that everyone will get on.

Who organises the events?
We do! We’re a gay couple who have been together for over 9 years. We are mid 30s, down to earth sociable guys who found ourselves in the situation of wanting to meet new friends and doing so in a totally different way to normal, hence the idea of RandomStrangers  was born!

How much does it cost to attend each event?
Each event will be priced differently based on the number of attendees, the location of the event and the service being included over the course of the event. Typically though a two night event will start from as little as £250 per couple (just £62.50 per person per night) which would include accommodation, food and drink.

How do I pay?
Payment by cash, cheque or credit card (via Google CheckOut). 50% deposit required to secure your place. 50% balance due 21 days before start of event. These figures may change depending on specific requirements for each event.

What happens when I arrive at an event?
First of all, you’ll be shown to your room, given a show round of the house and told where to find everything. Help yourself to a snack, glass of wine or anything else you want and then you can settle in and start meeting the other guests. You’ll find the fridge and cupboards full of food and drink so just make yourself at home.

And what happens during the event?
The events are totally flexible and what happens will be totally driven by the people attending. During the day you’ll be able to enjoy the area around about where you are staying either on your own or with some of the other people you’ve met up with during the event. In the evenings we like to get everyone together for a nice meal, a few drinks and lots of conversation and fun. As the evening progresses you’ll get to know more of the other guests and strike up some new friendships. You’ll be able to come and go from the house as you like over the duration of your stay. Nothing is set in stone; what happens is all down to each set of guests.

Does someone cook our meals?
The aim of the event is to get people to interact with each other and this will included everything from cooking meals together, mixing cocktails and even washing the dishes! Of course not everyone will want to do everything; think of the event as a big house party where everyone just chips in and helps out in whatever way they can.  Nobody does anything they don’t feel comfortable with.

What do we get to eat?
Prior to the event we get everyone to complete a food and drink survey. This ensures we stock up with the sorts of things you like. For dinner we will have all the fresh ingredients required to prepare a good meal. Rest assured we will have plenty of food, soft drinks and alcohol to ensure you can get whatever you need whenever you need it!
